NAHB is celebrating a major victory now that Congress has passed, and President Obama has signed, legislation that will extend the first-time home buyer tax credit into next year and expand its eligibility to include many more home buyers. The new law also provides relief to cash-strapped home builders by broadening tax benefits for businesses with net operating losses (NOLs).
